General Information & Philosophy

Luminous Living Ltd offers heart-centred, earth-based shamanic healing and spiritual mentorship, training and healing. We guide individuals toward soul-led, bespoke healing experiences, shamanic training, ceremonial cacao work, and transformational practices.

Our services are provided by experienced shamanic practitioners committed to ancestral wisdom, rewilding, and deep spiritual transformation. We maintain a travel-based practice serving clients across the UK and Europe.

We are based in Southend on Sea, Essex.  All 1:1 healings and training is done from our Southend Retreat unless booked by a 3rd party.  We are UKbased and operate nationwide. Our practitioners travel extensively, often working at retreats and venues across the UK and Europe, which allows us to bring healing directly to you.

We specialise in shamanic healing, spiritual mentorship, earth-based practices, guided shamanic journeys, ceremonial cacao work, Luminous Ecstatic Dance (LED), and bespoke training programs tailored to individual and group needs. 

Yes, we welcome all levels of experience. Each offering includes guidance appropriate for your current understanding, and we create inclusive, supportive environments for spiritual exploration.

Digital Products

Our digital shamanic journeys include MP3 audio files for guided shamanic journeys and healing work, teaching videos, and comprehensive PDF manuals. They're designed to support your personal healing and spiritual development. 

Immediately after payment, you'll receive download links via email and on-screen. Downloads are available instantly upon purchase completion. 

Any device that plays MP3s and opens PDFs (smartphones, tablets, computers). We recommend downloading on Wi-Fi and saving files to your device immediately.

No. All shamanic journey downloads, LED sets, tutorial videos, and PDFs are final sale once accessed. At checkout, you must consent to immediate access and acknowledge this eliminates your 14-day cancellation right under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. 

UK law allows us to eliminate the cooling-off period for digital content when you expressly consent to immediate access. This protects our intellectual property while providing instant access to your healing tools.

Contact us at info@luminousliving.co.uk within 48 hours if you experience file corruption, download failure, or content that differs from our description. We'll provide working replacements or refunds for genuine technical faults only. 

No. Your purchase is for personal use only. Sharing or reselling digital content violates our terms and diminishes the sacred nature of the work. 

Download links have 1 week download time and a maximum of 3 downloads per purchase. Save files to your device immediately upon receipt. 

Yes. Purchase with your details, then email us the recipient's information so we can arrange appropriate access. 

Group Services

LED Is an ecstatic dance, facilitating movement, release, and connection to your inner self and collective energy in a safe, sacred container. LED runs events online, in Southend on Sea, Essex, UK and at a variety of festivals and locations in Europe. 

Check our Events page and subscribe to our newsletter. Our bespoke programs are announced there first and often fill quickly due to intimate group sizes. 

Our tiered policy reflects the extensive preparation required for bespoke experiences:

       More than 4 months notice: 75% refund (less £25 admin fee)

       2-4 months notice: 50% refund (less £25 admin fee)

       Within 2 months: No refund due to preparation costs and inability to resell spaces 

Our services require extensive preparation, energy work, and resource commitment. We maintain small groups and don't overbook, so late cancellations directly impact our ability to serve others and cover preparation costs.

No. Our date-specific services are exempt from the standard 14-day cooling-off period under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Our cancellation policy applies from purchase.

Yes, you can transfer to another person by emailing info@luminousliving.co.uk with their details. Date transfers require 4+ months notice and are subject to availability.

You'll receive full refund or transfer option. We're not liable for your travel/accommodation costs unless required by law.

Comfortable clothing, water, snacks, and any items specified in your booking confirmation (journal, blanket, yoga mat, etc.). Specific requirements are emailed before events.

Many are, but please email us and consult your healthcare provider first. Individual event guidelines will specify any restrictions. 

Yes. Email details (group size, preferred dates, location, intentions) for a bespoke quote and availability check.

Physical Products

We provide ceremonial-grade, sustainably sourced cacao from Guatamala - a powerful heart medicine for personal practice and ceremony work.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and strong odours to maintain quality and energetic potency.

For hygiene and safety reasons, opened/unsealed cacao cannot be returned. If sealed and purchased online, you have 14 days from delivery to notify us for return (you pay return postage). Faulty items will be replaced or refunded.

Contact us at info@luminousliving.co.uk within 24 hours with photos. We'll arrange replacement or refund for damaged, spoiled, or incorrectly described products.

UK Shipping rates apply. We currently use Royal mail and their charges will apply. International shipping rates will be applied according to weight and country.

Booking & Payments

Major credit/debit cards, PayPal, bank transfer options. Specific methods are shown at checkout.

Medicine Wheel training programmes can be paid via payment plans.  All courses must be paid for in full prior to the course commence date.  Contact us for larger programs to discuss staged payment options.

All pricing information is shown at checkout with applicable taxes.

Bookings are confirmed when full payment is received, and you receive email confirmation. Check spam folders if confirmation doesn't arrive promptly.

Yes. Email info@luminousliving.co.uk with your order details and business information for proper invoicing. 

1:1 Healing Sessions

Book via the website on the Bookings page. Select 1:1 healing, chose the date and time and any specific healing intentions. Full payment is required to secure your appointment.

As traveling practitioners, each booking involves complex travel coordination, retreat schedules, shared healing space allocation, and route optimization. Short-notice changes disrupt multiple clients and operational logistics. 

Due to travel complexity and bespoke preparation:

  • More than 14 days notice: 75% refund (less £25 admin fee) or complimentary reschedule within 12 weeks
  • 7-14 days notice: 50% refund (less £25 admin fee) or reschedule with £25 fee
  • Less than 7 days notice: No refund or reschedule available

Yes, up to 7 days before the session. Email us their complete contact details and confirm they accept our terms. 

Stable internet connection, camera/microphone capability, and a quiet, private space. You may wish to lay down somewhere comfortable for the session.  We will connect on Teams, which you will receive a link for prior to the session.

Yes, please inform us of any medical conditions, medications, pregnancy, or mental health considerations at least 7 days prior for safe, appropriate preparation.

No. Our sessions support wellbeing and spiritual development but are not medical treatment. Please consult healthcare providers for medical concerns.

Returns & Refunds

Our full Returns and Refunds Policy is linked in the website footer and provided during checkout. We encourage reading it before purchasing. 

We generally don't offer change-of-mind refunds beyond legal requirements. Our policies protect against impulsive decisions that waste business resources and energy. 

£25 charges applied to refunds and transfers to cover processing costs, rebooking coordination, and schedule management. 

Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days to your original payment method. Bank transfers may require additional time. 

Serious illness, bereavement, or other genuine emergencies with supporting documentation (medical certificates, death certificates). However, refund ability remains limited by committed travel arrangements affecting multiple clients.

Yes, we maintain appropriate professional and public liability insurance for all counselling, psychotherapy, shamanic healing, teaching, ecstatic dance and online services. 

Safety & Legal Rights

Absolutely. We comply fully with Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 while maintaining necessary business protections. 

All services are performed with reasonable care and skill. If standards aren't met, you may be entitled to repeat performance or price reduction under Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Any touch is completely consensual and optional. Shamanic tools such as crystals, feathers, and shakapa leaves are used on clients, however we can work above your body with no touch should you prefer this. Please communicate your boundaries before and during sessions.

No recording without explicit written permission. We maintain sacred, private spaces respecting all participants' confidentiality.

Most services, shamanic training courses and LED’s (Luminous Ecstatic Dances) are for ages 18+.  

Family-friendly offerings suitable for children and adults age 6 upwards will be clearly marked as ‘Family Friendly;’  For example, if Luminous Living Ltd is facilitating ceremonies at festivals, retreats or charity bookings where children are present. Our facilitators are trained and insured to work with children age 6 upwards and are DBS checked.  Unless clearly stated otherwise, please assume all events are age 18+

1:1 sessions for children and young adults ages 6 - 18 can be booked with a parent or guardian being present for drop off and pick up to each session.  

Additional Practical Questions

Yes, we're often booked to facilitate at retreats, festivals, and events across the UK and Europe. Check our Events page for current collaborations. 

Many venues are accessible, but facilities vary. Email your requirements before booking so we can advise on suitability and arrangements.  There is no wheelchair access at our Southend Office.

We send booking confirmation, however, please maintain your own calendar as you're responsible for attendance.

Yes. Email your vision, group size, preferred dates, location, and amount of hours or days retreat you would like planned along with any specific intentions for a tailored proposal and quote. 

Yes you will receive a certificate of completion  for The Bridge Introduction to Shamanism course, The Luminous Medicine Wheel South, West, North and East Training programmes also provide a certificate of completion. Check individual program descriptions for more information.

Yes, we maintain substance-free sacred spaces. Anyone under the influence will be refused entry without refund.  

Cacao participation is optional at events, feel free to just say no.

Yes. Join waitlists through event pages or email us. We'll notify you if spaces become available.

Each event listing specifies what's included (all shamanic materials, tools,). It is always recommended to bring your own water flask and snacks as healing is hungry work. Food and water is also good for grounding and replenishing you after sessions and during training retreats. Contact us if you need clarification before booking. 

Please email us and consult your healthcare provider first. We'll advise on suitability and any necessary modifications. 

We have contingency plans for weather dependent activities. Severe weather cancellations such as Tsunami or Hurricanes follow our standard cancellation policy with full refunds or transfers.  Other than that, the ceremony always goes on, come rain or shine!

Yes, we offer ultimate plans which include 1:1 healings, shamanic starter kits, downloadable healing journeys, teaching and healing manuals, Bimonthly Luminous Community Teams meetings, confidential sharing Whatsapp Groups, online private and group ceremonies, and much more. Contact us to discuss extended support and spiritual guidance options.

No.  All bookings must be made through the bookings tab, upon receipt of session booking, we will contact you if any further information is needed. Every session is unique and every client completes a client form upon arrival which is then gone through with our trained practitioners. This ensures that we are working with what you are presenting with at that time and that consultation along with the shamanic mesa will determine what work is done in that session.
